Lone but very beautiful Oak tree in mountains

When you are hiking in barren mountains and suddenly you see a gorgeous lush green Oak tree, you can’t stop wondering at nature’s marvel. Not sure from where this tree gets water…and such a beautiful green color!

I was hiking (a 10 mile Las Llajas loop in Simi Valley) and came across this beautiful green Oak tree.  It contrasts well with otherwise barren land and mountains around it.
